If you are like most buyers, purchasing a home will be the most expensive investment you'll ever make. Obtaining financing can be a complex and confusing process. For current home owners, you may be looking at the complex process of refinancing and if it is right for you.
There are an overwhelming number of choices for lending institutions with a vast variety of mortgage products. Financing options and rates can vary widely. It is important to do your research and comparative "shopping" to ensure you obtain the mortgage product that best meets your needs.
I would be happy to refer you to some very experienced mortgage brokers I have worked with in the Portland and Vancouver areas. They will guide you through the financing aspects of the home buying process. They will also help you if you are looking to refinance.

Use the mortgage calculators below to assist you in making some decisions around financing your new home.
Mortgage Qualification Calculator
This calculator will help you determine how much money you are qualified to borrow. The results are informal. You will be subject to a credit approval from your financial institution taking into consideration existing debt to income ratios, amount of down payment, income, credit score and other variables.
Mortgage Payment Calculator & Amortization Table
This calculator will help you determine what your mortgage payments will be based on purchase price, interest rate and mortgage term length, as well as other factors. The amortization table shows what the interest and principal payments will be over the term of the mortgage. This table does not include taxes and insurance which will vary based from home to home.
